Matthew and Bob (Bob being my rescued border collie) Warmly invite you to come and stay in our friendly and informal Bed and Breakfast. Located in the centre of the pretty market village of Chaillac, near Argenton-sur-Creuse.
The house is to be found down a little lane near to the beautiful 15th century Chateau. An easy drive from the A20, exit junction 20 or 21 and follow signs to Saint Benoit du Sault then signs to Chaillac. A restful stopover when travelling between the North and South of France and the perfect base for exploring Indre and the Limousin. At Chaillac Bed and Breakfast we welcome cyclists and bikers, secure covered parking is available for your bicycles, motorbikes, trailers etc.

Our recently renovated village house was built originally to provide housing for the servants from the chateau, now we hope we have created a warm and comfortable chambres d'hotes retaining the old world charm but with all the modern amenities needed to ensure that our guests enjoy a relaxing stay.
As our guest we would like you to think of our house as your house for the time you are with us. All our rooms are centrally heated in winter to keep you warm on even the coldest day.

Chaillac Bed and Breakfast - Lounge

As well as offering you with a room for the night we also provide you with a splendid breakfast; typically breakfast consists of croissants and assorted breads, homemade jam and marmalade, a selection of yogurts and fresh fruit or fruit juice. Beverages of coffee, hot chocolate and English or herbal teas are offered with breakfast and our guests are always welcome to make themselves a hot drink in the kitchen. at any time of the day or night.

In the warmer weather breakfast and dinner may be taken on our sun terrace, whilst in winter all meals are served at the table in our cosy dining room in front of the wood burning stove.
In the evening we offer you a delicious three-course dinner. Before moving to France I was a head chef and have worked all over the world so it should be no problem finding something to tantalize your taste buds. My ingredients whenever possible, include fresh local and organic produce.

Situated in a quiet road, a stroll away from the village square in Chaillac, a few minutes drive from either junction 20 or 21 off the A20 autoroute. At the south of the department of L’Indre on the borders of the Limousin, a short drive from Argenton sur Creuse, Montmorillon, Saint Benoit du Sault, Eguzon and La Souterraine. Explore the many towns and villages and enjoy walking, cycling, fishing or simply relaxing in the quiet country lanes, in the woods or by the many rivers and lakes – soaking up the natural beauty of the region.
